Lydia Loveless goes Boy Crazy

Local hellfire Lydia Loveless released her latest EP Boy Crazy today, and you can currently stream the five-track effort over at American Songwriter by clicking right here.

The album, Loveless' first release since 2011's Indestructible Machine (which you need to purchase, like, now if you haven't already), finds the singer revisiting some familiar themes: self-doubt ("When did I become so boring and dumb?" she asks on "All I Know"), romantic misadventures (the rowdy title cut) and the ways our various foibles and tics reveal themselves time and time again throughout our lives (the country swing of "All the Time"). But even when Loveless - who sounds fantastic as always - sings about uncertainty she sounds remarkably self-assured.

Give the album a spin, then pick it up at your favorite local record shop or by visiting Bloodshot Records right here.
