Our Way & the Highway was an appropriate title for the 2012 album by these Michigan-based psychobilly vets. Much of the record sounded tailored to the open road, piling on turbo-charged drums and guitars that roared like hemi-powered street racers. Even so, the band members didn’t hesitate to utilize the parking break now and again, hitting the dive bar scene for booze-fueled rockers like “The Bottle Called” and “Boozincrossanation,” a song whose title still doubles as a way of life for the rowdy crew.

It’s an ethos that carries over onto the band’s most recent album, Born of the Motor, which was released in October on Sailor’s Grave Records, and finds the band in similarly fighting form.
