Concert preview: Bombay Bicycle Club's music more expansive than singles let on

Bombay Bicycle Club's singles, whether 2011's “Shuffle” or this year's “Luna,” aren't really representative of the band as a whole.

While these singles tend to stray toward dramatic — comparable to The Fray, for instance — this London band is quite the contrary.

The band picks and chooses from an array of sounds, creating a brand of indie-rock that's more expansive than the closing, sentimental moments of an episode of “Grey's Anatomy.”
