In the early ’80s this California punk crew flirted with success, garnering a small-yet-devoted audience with bratty, oddly melodic tunes like “You Make Me Feel Cheap,” a Ramone-esque, two-minute blast of hormonal teenage pop-punk.

Now, after disappearing for the better part of two decades (on the band’s official site it explained the absence by writing, “CH3 had simply retreated to the basement lab”), Channel 3 is back on the air with a rejiggered lineup and a familiar sound.

Senior Citizen & the Border Patrol and Vegetative State open the show.
