Animal House, a hip-hop concert/party hybrid gearing up to return for its fifth go-round on Friday, May 16, long ago established itself as a hotbed for rising hip-hop talent.

The show’s third iteration, which took place in Oct. 2011, featured a then-unknown Kendrick Lamar, while last year’s event included a set from Chicago’s Chance the Rapper — roughly three months before the MC’s Acid Rap mixtape set the blogosphere on fire.

This time around Odd Future founding member Casey Veggies headlines alongside a wealth of performers that includes Reese, Bangi, DJ Osh Kosh, Chris Mars B and DJ Sinceer.

Judging by the event’s track record, expect Veggies’ next Columbus stop to take place at a much, much larger venue.
