Long-running indie-punk couple John Shell and Jen Shag (he sings and plays guitar, she sings and plays drums) have been making music together for quite some time — a reality that surfaces time and again on the duo’s 2013 album Shellshag Forever.

“I just can’t picture me and you in any other life/ This is what we are meant to do forever,” the two harmonize atop a lovingly homemade clatter on “Forever,” sounding as though they’re reciting something even more powerful and lasting than marital vows.

Pretty Pretty, Nervosas, Purple 7 and Street Eaters open the show.
