Editor's picks: 28 things to do this weekend in Columbus

Staff Writer
Columbus Alive

So much to do this weekend, so little time to do it in. Do you watch a scary movie (in a theater or at a drive-in) or watch the U.S. Men's National Team play some soccer against Ecuador on Friday? For Saturday, is it the Worst Kept Secret Fest or the Italian Fest? Four Strings' three-year birthday party or Zauber's Harvest Fest?

I don't even know where to begin, but, as always, here's what I'd do this weekend if I could be everywhere all the time. (Seriously, can someone just invent a way to do that already?)

Oh, and don't forget Alive's Rocktoberfest is next weekend! We're gonna get a little weird with Way Yes, The DewDroppers, She Bears and DJ Giovanny, starting at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17. RSVP here.

Recover at a juice bar

For real, though. Say what you want about juices (pricy, inefficient use of vegetables – maybe I'm the only one who says that), but they're hella good, and the perfect (hangover) recovery drink. Check out some of the best our city has to offer in our guide to juice bars and smoothie dens (I just coined that term, but I love how seedy it makes it sound. Bonus: fruit pun!).
