Concert preview: Comrade Question and others headline annual Andyman-A-Thon

Andy Downing, Columbus Alive

Late, loved radio personality John Andrew "Andyman" Davis might have passed away in 2010, but his charitable legacy lives on.

The DJ and program director for CD101 (now CD102.5) long hosted an on-air fundraiser, raising thousands of dollars for children's charities. Since Andyman's death, friends and colleagues have carried on the tradition, expanding the event to include an annual concert, which this year features performances from garage-psych crew Comrade Question, electro-funk duo Damn the Witch Siren, X-Rated Cowboys (a group fronted by Davis' longtime Tree Bar business partner Quinn Fallon) and Colin Gawel & the Lonely Boys.
