Concert preview: Fall Out Boy, the 1975 and more head up Jingle Ball

Andy Downing, Columbus Alive

While Milhouse's run as Radioactive Man sidekick Fallout Boy was mercifully short (Jiminy jillickers!), Chicago rockers Fall Out Boy are still flashing arena-worthy ambition nearly 15 years after the four musicians - Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley - first connected in suburban Illinois. Last year's Save Rock and Roll proved nearly as audacious as its title, piling on histrionic guitar riffs, booming backbeats and Technicolor guest appearances from the likes of Sir Elton John.

The 1975, Echosmith and Todd Carey also perform.
