Concert preview: Nervosas gearing up to release a new album in 2015

Nervosas’ primal punk sound is built on rumbling drums, snarling guy-gal vocals and wiry, trembling guitars that mirror the band’s jittery name. While the music moves with unnerving confidence, the lyrics suggest a far-more shattered core. “Disposable and incomplete,” Jeff Kleinman barks on one typically pessimistic number, “This fragile shell looks just like me.”

The band has been quiet as of late, but expect a new album sometime this spring.

Vacation, Daylight Robbery and Yuze Boys also perform.
