Concert preview: Omaha quartet See Through Dresses reveals its charms readily

It takes a bit of caution to track down Cure-worshipping Omaha quartet See Through Dresses via any internet search engine (exert extra care if on the clock), but the payoff is worth it. Songs like “Glass” and the gauzy, poppy “You Get Sick Again,” which finds singer/guitarist Mathew Carroll tapping into his inner Robert Smith, reveal their myriad charms as readily as, well, a see-through dress. “I think I’m having fun now,” he sings on the latter, though his low-key delivery suggests a deep reserve of melancholy lurking just beneath the surface.
