Los Angeles sibling quartet Echosmith is suddenly everywhere, appearing in televised performances stretching from morning (VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live”) into the night (“Late Night with Seth Meyers”).

It’s little surprise based on the breezy charm of singles like “Cool Kids” and the folksy “Bright,” The rest of the band’s 2013 debut, however, sounds unremarkable in comparison, leaving nearly as much of an impact on its surroundings as Philip Seymour Hoffman’s purposely anonymous “Owning Mahowny” gambler.

The Colourist and Liberty Deep Down open the show.
