The new Jewish deli in Victorian Village, created by Till Dynamic Far owners Magdiale Wolmark and Cristin Austin, holds its soft opening today after many delays due to construction and culinary research. The restaurant will serve breakfast and lunch.

5:30 p.m. - A Very Thurber Martini Tasting at The Westin Columbus

The Thurber House is hosting a martini tasting with live music by Jazz Arts Trio. Guests will get to sample five different martinis, each created just for the event. Tickets to attend are $40 or two for $75. The registration includes martini tasting tickets, cash bar and hors d'oeuvres.

6 p.m. - Darlene Erickson: Art Reception

Darlene Erickson is a watercolor artist from New Albany/Florida. She will exhibit her art at the Java Gallery through June, with Wednesday being the kick-off event. There will be light refreshments provided and there is no cost to attend.

9 p.m. - Justin Golak and Laura Sanders: Second Shift Comedy Tour

Columbus ex-pat Justin Golak and Columbusonian Laura Sanders are stand-up comics on a mission to perform in 19 cities over 21 days. Their stop in Columbus will be at the Spacebar and tickets are $5.
