Ohio native Adam Torres first popped up on the indie scene in Athens with his band Southeast Engine. It was his 2006 solo effort, Nostra Nova, that went on to achieve cult status, however.

With a folk sound indebted to his Appalachian roots and intellectually stimulating lyrics, Nostra Nova was recently re-issued via Misra, and Torres will appear here playing cuts from this under-heard classic.
