Concert preview: Bryan Ferry

Bryan Ferry is a polarizing figure. Well, maybe not critically. The founding member of Roxy Music consistently drew raves from reviewers throughout the '70s for his art-school-inspired glam-rock, and he also played the role of creative counterpoint to onetime bandmate Brian Eno. On Ferry's solo albums (and, eventually, in later Roxy Music albums), he focused more on synth-drenched covers of pop songs, which he sang in the croon of a schlocky Vegas lounge act. It's a soft-rock sound you either love or hate. (Fans only)
