Jay-Z and Beyonce coming to Ohio Stadium

Following an initial tour announcement, musical power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce have added a trio of new concert dates, including an Aug. 16 stop at Ohio Stadium.

Tickets for the Columbus show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 26, at the Schottenstein Center box office, online at ticketmaster.com or via phone at 1-800-745-3000.

The tour, dubbed On the Run II, is a follow up to the 2014 On the Run, which promoted Beyonce's self-titled record and Jay's Magna Carta Holy Grail and was the eighth-highest grossing tour of that year despite its relatively meager, 20-show run.

This time around could prove more massive, both in terms of the financial windfall and the quality of the music performed, seeing as both artists reached new creative peaks with more recent albums (Beyonce with Lemonade in 2016 and Jay with the better-than-you-realize 4:44, from 2017).

The tour kicks off in Cleveland in July 25.
