There’s hardly a business or industry that hasn’t been negatively impacted by the coronavirus, which has ground much of the city (and a growing part of the planet) to a halt. But independent music venues, which thrive on packed houses that now seem like a distant memory in this new era of social distancing, will likely be feeling the effects of the pandemic well into the future.

With that in mind, a number of local spots have recently launched crowdfunding campaigns to financially aid staff members during the shutdown. Should you have the means or interest in donating, links have been included.

Ace of Cups

Café Bourbon St.

Dick's Den

Rambling House

Rumba Cafe

Spacebar

In addition, Natalie’s Coal-Fired Pizza is currently raising money with a “Friend’s Pass,” which includes a T-shirt, a $25 Natalie’s gift card and admission for two to a future concert for $75.
