Daily Distraction: Mike Adams at His Honest Weight covers Low

Just listen to this Bloomington band already

For a few years now, I've been on a quest to introduce people to the music of Bloomington's Mike Adams at His Honest Weight. It's not quite at the Phoebe Bridgers or Bon Iver level, but it probably should be; those two have plenty of acolytes already, and Adams still tends to fly under the radar for some reason.

I won't repeat myself. Just give a listen to his most recent albums, There is No Feeling Better and Casino Drone. Both are great. And you can read my interviews with Adams here and here. And while you're at it, check out his two new covers, which Adams recorded over the summer on a new-to-him piano. The first is a beautiful rendition of Low's "Dragonfly," and the second is a sad/sweet song by Jeremy David Miller called "I Don't Blame You." Both are great. Have I said that yet? Listen via Bandcamp below.
