Last last year we told you about Lui, the new project from Carly Fratianne of wyd and Souther (RIP), both Alive Bands to Watch alums. Lui debuted with "Need for Now," a synth-pop track that marked a sonic departure from previous projects.

This week Lui returned with another of the five tracks Fratianne produced with Jeremy Steckel at Revelator Sounds in Gahanna. "'Childish' was rattling around my head for nearly two years before I walked in the door and threw it at Jeremy," Fratianne said on social media. "This first track we endeavored for Lui was such an adventure to create. The feeling of endless form, the concept of space as a decision, dancing... If a record can be a flight, this was talking off."

"Childish" is more guitar-based than "Need for Now," but it continues Fratianne's exploration of pop music, which has so far been a totally rewarding listening experience. Check it out below.
