What are you wearing?
Job: fourth-year medical student
Neighborhood: Victorian Village
Label your style: A mix of classic and vintage
Where do you like to shop?
For basics, I'll go to American Apparel, and I love the Go International line at Target. I love vintage stores - around here, Rag-o-Rama. And Nordstrom just has the best of everything, if you're willing to splurge.
Do you wear a lot of scrubs?
I think that's kind of a myth that doctors always wear scrubs. Usually only on surgery or if you're on the wards for the day, so you're usually in business casual, just like any other job.
What kind of shoes do you like?
I'm not a big heel person. For the summer, I like those gladiator sandals and strappier sandals. A good pair of flip-flops can go a long way. And for colder weather, I think every girl needs a good pair of tall, leather boots.
Has your style changed over time?
Basically, no. I pay attention to the trends, but I know what works best for me, so I try to stay true to that, too.
