What are you wearing? Soniya Gokhale

Staff Writer
Columbus Alive

Job: Realtor at CB Richard Ellis

Neighborhood: Lancaster

Hometown: Worthington

Label your style: "Trendy, but age-appropriate"

What do you like to wear? My style is eclectic in that I will wear a Target T-shirt with a really expensive jacket. The thing is, you can buy something expensive, and it may not look well on the figure. And you can find something at Target that is so phenomenally stylish that you would never guess [it came from there].

What are your fashion obsessions? Coats, shoes and handbags.

Do you wear much jewelry? I usually do not. Because with four kids, I don't have time. But I do have a few good pieces.

Where do you like to shop? I like Saks and Nordstrom. I'm so excited by how much stuff there is in Columbus compared to when I was growing up here. And there's so many places online - net-a-porter.com, ssense.com, jcrew.com.

What's in Lancaster? Oh my gosh, nothing. Actually, my friend and I have talked about opening up a boutique of some kind. But it is so different than Columbus.

So what do you wear in your downtime? I still look somewhat dressed up. Maybe pants from J. Crew or Joe's Jeans and maybe a sweater or a T-shirt. I usually do not wear sweats out of the house.

What products are part of your style? I'm a makeup fanatic. I really like Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, M.A.C. And the FHI Runway flatiron is a huge investment, but it is so worth it.
