What are you wearing? Taren Hayes
Job: Co-founder of image-consulting firm Style Fierce; masters student at University of Phoenix
Neighborhood: Whitehall
Hometown: Columbus
Age: 23
Label your style: "Classy but fierce"
Why do you like what you're wearing today? Right now, I'm into a lot of different bright colors and neutrals. I would wear this any afternoon I'm out; like today, walking around Downtown.
How's the consulting going for you? It's good. We've been working with different models and photographers in Columbus to network. I enjoy making people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin, no matter what body shape or size they are.
You studied fashion at CCAD. Do you make things for yourself much? You know, I was just saying to my mom last night, I have no garments I've made for myself. I think I'm going to start working on that.
Where do you like to shop? Express, Forever 21, Arden B. Easton - I just park and watch and shop.
What have you gotten recently for spring? I'm doing a lot of different layering and jewelry. I also buy shoes, like, every week. I have wedges, booties and tons of heels. I love the flat sandals that are out right now with the jewels and stones.
Where do you shop for shoes? Bakers. I love Bakers.
How has your style changed? When I first started college, I was into the urban wear - denim and tennis shoes. My sophomore year, I realized, "I can't dress like this if I'm going to be a designer." That's when I started wearing heels and blazers.
