Art enthusiasts can learn to draw and observe art at the Columbus Museum of Art's Drawing in the Galleries this week. Offered on Thursday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 24, the program gives guests-including non-artists-the opportunity to experience the fundamentals of drawing in the gallery setting.
"The focus is on learning to slow down and look at art, appreciating the nuances of a work, and seeing the detail-skills that are important in many facets of our lives," said museum spokeswoman Nancy Colvin.
Both sessions of Drawing in the Galleries begin at 2 p.m., and the cost is $4 for Museum members and $10 for non-members. For reservations, call 614-629-5947. For more, visit ColumbusMuseum.org.
