The New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix & Family Day, founded by Abigail Wexner to raise money to fight abuse, is Sunday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Held at the Wexner residence, the Classic draws more than 15,000 visitors a year. It features world-class equestrians competing in a show-jumping competition and offers rides, jugglers, petting zoos and an open air concert that this year will feature Big Time Rush (among others). Since its inception in 1998, the event has raised more than $16 million to fight family violence. Adult tickets cost $15, and children 12 and younger are free with an accompanying adult. Tickets must be purchased in advance at TheNewAlbanyClassic.com.
