Dance Party

Kristy Eckert

Last year, we enlisted the talents of several professional dancers from BalletMet to model for our holiday fashion spread. Your response? Thrilling! So we wanted to give you more. This time around, we asked two of the dancers to act out a love story using their well-honed movements along with looks (including menswear!) brilliantly styled by Elizabeth Bean Smith. We hope you have as much fun looking as we did making. Here's a peek at what it took.

Stylist Elizabeth Bean Smith, owner of Wardrobe Therapy, said her favorite look on Annie was the emerald dress. The piece she'd most like in her own closet? The black jumpsuit.

Outside of the salon, hair stylist Meredith Sivi enjoys spending time with her 10-year-old daughter, Arianna-"and dancing every once in a while!"

Professional dancer Annie Mallonee, who has danced since she was 4, has performed with BalletMet for nine years.

Professional dancer Gabriel Gaffney Smith also sings and plays the piano and saxophone.
