Strap on your Stilettos

Put on your high heels to support ovarian cancer at the Birthday Bash Stiletto Dash on Sept. 7. The concept was created by two Columbus ladies who have been affected by ovarian cancer (one is a survivor and one lost her mother to the disease). For the second year in a row, they are inviting women to join them for a program and lunch to raise funds and awareness. Plus, there's the fun Stiletto Dash, where guests have the opportunity to "race" in their highest heels. The event begins at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Parish in Marble Cliff (near Grandview). The race is at noon with lunch to follow. There's no cost to attend, but donations benefit the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio.
