Peach's Winter Boudoir

Peach's Boudoir Photography is hosting a Winter Wonderland event on Dec. 1, where women can schedule a 45 minute boudoir photography session. The $175 session includes a print and a CD of edited images. "My goal with Peach's Boudoir Photography is to empowerwomen to feel wonderful and confidant in their own skin and to show them how beautiful they are," says photographer Courtney Hergesheimer. We chatted with Hergesheimer to learn more about the intimate photography experience. What does each session entail?

It starts with a PEACH's-inspired cocktail and make-up application by professional makeup artist Bridget Henry. I was inspired to do a winter-themed boudoir by the stark blue skies and soft golden light of Ohio winters, so I have several scenes designed specifically to invoke the elegance and delicate beauty of the season. Then I like to discuss moods and attire options with my client to better personalize the experience. Each client's personality-whether it be playful, sultry or sensual-is brought out to create truly unique images.

What do you tell women who are nervous about doing this kind of shoot?

Nervousness is common with this type of photography.As a professional, I try to create a relaxed and comfortable environment for my client, and I work hard to make sure that women leave the experience feeling sexy, confident and beautiful-which all women should!

Who do you encourage to schedule a session?

Anyone! But this particular event might interest those in trying boudoir at a less expensive cost. Peach's boudoir sessions make for unforgettable holiday gifts for a significant other, but it's also a great confidence booster! Boudoir parties can also be a fun girls' night out event!
