Village Show

Colors like tropical rose and lemon chiffon will light up German Village this January as gift boutique Caterina Ltd. hosts a spring trunk show featuring the upscale women's clothing lines Carlisle and Per Se. Four times a year, the lines, based in New York and sold by individuals, take over Caterina's third floor. A team of four Columbus consultants is on hand so shoppers can peruse the pieces during Caterina's general hours or by private appointment. "The Carlisle clothes range from Friday night casual to black-tie," says Ellen Leukart, an independent consultant who sells the lines. "And Per Se has a more European feel. It's more trendy." Prices range from $200 to $900. Can't make it to the trunk show? The consultants can sell to you throughout the year, helping host at-home parties or delivering orders directly to clients. "We have a great demographic all around Columbus-community volunteers, professionals, young doctors and retired women who sit on various boards," Leukart says. "We love when people come in and browse."
The Carlisle and Per Se trunk show is Jan. 17-30 at Caterina Ltd., 571 S. Third St.
