Shopping: Victoria's Secret PINK Grand Opening

The shiny new Victoria's Secret PINK store celebrated its grand opening Saturday morning at Easton Town Center.

"We're excited to have the store open in our hometown," said Sara Gaul, PINK PR rep.

Eager customers waited outside before the doors opened at 10 a.m. to snag their free PINK ♥ Cbus iPhone case with a purchase, and Ohio DJ day-na played upbeat songs, such as La Roux's "Bulletproof," as shoppers perused the brand's loungewear. Pink, white and gold balloons covered the store's ceiling, and two large inflated pups, a mascot of sorts for the label, stood guard at the front.

Victoria's Secret has opened 35 other PINK-only stores in the country, but Gaul said this is the only one in Columbus so far.

Tiffany Williams, a PINK customer, said she was looking forward to the grand opening and proudly displayed her new case for a photo as she was leaving the store. Gaul said she expected PINK, which is located across from Victoria's Secret, to run out of those cases by the end of the day.
