Fans of Jeni's have a reason to celebrate. The ice cream company recently announced it would open a seasonal "Mini Jeni's" at the Columbus Commons.

The shop will open its doors this Saturday, April 27, to coincide with the "Earth Day 2013: Stand Together" events, which run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Located at 160 S. High St., the mini Jeni's will be open during all Columbus Commons events and concerts, a release said. Earth Day volunteers will get a voucher for a free scoop of ice cream redeemable throughout the day at the Columbus Commons location.
