Twenty-five design students will present their collections at the show, which marks the 30th anniversary of the Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Design and Merchandising.

Industry professionals critique the students' collections before selecting which lines to put on the runway. Fashion designer Sam Shipley of Shipley & Halmos; Michael Babb of Kohl's; Erich Biehle, a former textile designer for multiple couture designers; Michael Cunningham, alumnus and head designer of women's label Joan Vass; and Allison Sires, an alumna and owner of clothing store Thomas Sires all offered feedback to the students beforehand.

The fashion school will recognize a designer at the event-an annual tradition of Kent State's. Yeohlee Teng will be placed in the school's Hall of Fame with other industry leaders such as Oscar de la Renta, Leonardo Ferragamo and Judith Leiber.

Tickets are $40 for the 1 p.m. show and $65 for the 6 p.m. show, which includes the Hall of Fame recognition and winner announcements. You'll find more info here.
