When I started to think about my dream spring getaway, I immediately imagined a warm city that I've never visited. When traveling to any destination, I always pack items that I know will be comfortable and versatile. So, for this blog post, I wanted to show a single pair of pants from Zara worn in two different ways-a daytime look and an evening look. Easy and totally travel friendly!

For the daytime look: Comfort is key here because you'll be pounding the pavement all day exploring. I paired the pants with a denim shirt, leather flip-flops, a hat, a stack of bracelets, a tote, and I threw on my RayBan Wayfarers, which I basically never take off.

For the evening look: Just a few simple swaps make this outfit a bit more fancy. I added a silk blouse, a statement necklace, a clutch and a great pair heels. Oh, and a swipe of pink lipstick never hurt.

Packing List:

1. Silk pants

The ones I'm wearing are from Zara. I love the crazy, fun print, and they are so comfortable.

2. A denim shirt

So classic, and it can be worn in tons of different ways. You can find the one I'm wearing here.

3. A hat

An easy and cute way to keep the sun off of your face. I got the one I'm wearing on a trip to Santa Fe.

4. Leather flip flops

Comfortable without sacrificing style. Mine are from Tory Burch.

5. A tote

To schlep all those amazing things you'll find during your trip. This tote is from Madewell.

6. A stack of bracelets (above)

Can be worn together stacked or individually. From top to bottom: Jewelmint bangle (old), vintage watch, Madewell bangle (old) and leather bracelet from Rowe Boutique.

7. A silk blouse

An easy piece that dresses up any look. The one I'm wearing is from Kate Spade.

8. A pair of heels

To transition your look from day to night. I'm wearing a pair from Leal that I got on sale.

9. A bold necklace

Can be added to any outfit to make it new and interesting. This one is from Forever 21 (old).

10. A funky clutch

Don't lose this when you're out all night dancing. I got this one from Rowe Boutique.
