For the second consecutive year, Columbus has been named a Top 7 Intelligent Community by think tank Intelligent Community Forum. The city commemorated the international award in 2013 by adding the term to the street signs at Broad and Front. "That was one instance where we sort of went all out," says Tyneisha Harden of the mayor's office. "They're very important, especially when we think about things like hosting the 2016 Democratic National Convention," she says. "It's all a part of telling the Columbus story." Here are a few more accolades you may not have heard of.
