Fun for Your Family at New Albany Classic
The New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix & Family Dayis just a few days away, and the family events this year are aplenty.
Held at the Wexner's Abigail Stables, the site of our elegant equestrian fall fashion shoot, the event on Sept. 21 raises money for The Center for Family Safety and Healing. Tickets are $23 for adults and $7.50 for children (ages 4-10). Get your ticket here.
New attractions this year include a farm tour, performances by the Columbus Children's Theatre and a pumpkin patch. Look also for a pig race, petting zoo, zip line and the Carousel Works' hand-carved wooden horses.
Expect other activity highlights from these participants:
- Fifth Harmony (Tween Brands concert starts at 11 a.m.)
- American Girl
- Columbus Photo Botth
- Matt The Balloon Guy
- Michael Roy'sCirqued du Papier(origami)
- Murray Brothers Amusement Rides
- SWACO (creating exhibits made from recycled materials)
If all that family fun is making you hungry, you'll be able to grab a bite from plenty of Columbus eateries, including Schmidt's, Mikey's Late Nite Slice, Donatos, Kinetic and, of course, Jeni's and Graeter's.
The Invitational Grand Prix kicks off at 2 p.m. with a ceremony and presentation from the Harmony Project, a local nonprofit that provides arts programming.
