In need of a new pair of glasses this fall? The Ohio State University College of Optometry has you covered. On Tuesday, Sept. 23, the College of Optometry Services is hosting its Fall Fashion Frame Expo, where you'll find more than 4,500 frames for sale. "It is the most anticipated frame event in Central Ohio," says Shawn Curtner, co-assistant clinic director at the college. "It happens every six months. We have the range of designers that others don't have, and we take great pride in displaying top quality, top brand products." A sampling of the brands available include Gucci, John Varvatos, Lucky Brand and Converse.

Jeff Rohlf, also a co-assistant clinic director, explains that the college aims to add new elements to each expo. "It's not just about having frames but taking it one step further," Rohlf says. "For example, Bobbi Brown has come out with a line of frames. One thing we're offering that day is having a Bobbi Brown makeup artist from Nordstrom there. She will be doing eye makeup and tying it into the frame selection. That's what Bobbi Brown is doing…tying the frames in with makeup."

The expo is happening at the College of Optometry's main campus, and it runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information about the expo and the services offered by the college, visit GreatVision.OSU.edu/Expo.
