Where Will Your Favorite Veterans Memorial Event Relocate?

Demolition of Veterans Memorial is scheduled to begin in December, but what will happen to the roughly 50 annual events that utilized the Franklinton space? About 30 have been successfully relocated, says Brian Ross, CEO of Experience Columbus. And organizers of the other 20 are negotiating with other venues. "Our intention is to engage each event that was held at Vets Memorial and make sure they can continue to hold their event, as well as grow their event," Ross says. After the building is torn down, the plan is to build a traditional memorial to veterans without the event space.
