Ohio Craft Museum Hosts Gifts of the Craftsmen Sale
The holidays are upon us, and it's never too early to start picking up unique gifts for your loved ones.
The Ohio Craft Museum is hosting its annual Gifts of the Craftsmen exhibit and sale starting Sunday, Nov. 9, and running through Tuesday, Dec. 23, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Around 100 artists will peddle their goods at the event, including colorful jewelry from Courtney DeYoung, intricate baskets from Carole Stolte, detailed ceramics from Anne Tubbs (pictured) and more. View a full list of the vendors here.
Want to make your own giftable good? The marketplace is offering a ring-making workshop on opening day from 1 to 4 p.m. with Ginger Seiple. You'll walk away with a ring of your own creation using hammering, shaping, soldering and polishing techniques. Fee is $40, and you can reserve your spot at (614) 486-4402.
The kids can also learn how to craft their own gift at workshops on Monday, Dec. 22, and Tuesday, Dec. 23, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Fee is $25. Call (614) 486-4402 to register.
