Looking for some indoor activities as the cooler weather takes over Columbus? The Wexner Center for the Arts has you covered. We've highlighted some of the Wex's upcoming events that are perfect for a date night or an afternoon with girlfriends.

  • Zadie Smith, an award-winning author who has published several novels, is coming to the Wexner Center on Thursday, Nov. 13. Beginning at 5 p.m., Smith will give a talk on race and culture, and she'll be signing books after the event. Tickets to see Smith are free, but must be reserved in advance. Learn more here.
  • Get a head start on holiday shopping during a first-ever trunk sale at the Wexner Center Store on Saturday, Nov. 15. The sale features jewelry from Italian designer Monica Castiglioni, who makes unique rings, bracelets and other accessories. The trunk sale runs from noon to 4 p.m.
  • If you haven't checked out Transfigurations: Modern Masters from the Wexner Family Collection, you still have time-the exhibition featuring works from Pablo Picasso, Alberto Giacometti and Jean Dubuffet (among others) is on display through the end of the year. We chatted with Sherri Geldin, the director of the Wexner Center, about what it means to have the show at the Wex. Read the Q&A from our Daily Dish.
