Makeover: Lauren Restivo's Deserving Transformation

Capital Style is teaming with local style experts to transform one deserving woman in each issue. Meet Lauren Restivo, who works full time, attends grad school and enjoys giving back to the community.

Her story
Lauren, who grew up in Dublin and now lives in Grandview, is a Community Curator for Kaufman Development (she was recently promoted!). She's also working on her MBA from Franklin University, and serves as a volunteer leader for community organization Besa. "Lauren is passionate about her work, improving the community and has a heart of gold," says Matthew Goldstein, Besa's executive director. "She leads our monthly senior home project."Lauren, whose work wear is typically casual yet polished, enjoyed dressing up during the makeover experience. "I'm overwhelmed with gratitude toward Matthew for nominating me," Lauren says. "Getting to partake in all these activities…I feel very refreshed."

Premier Artist Candi Thivener added some caramel highlights around Lauren's face to add variation, and darkened her natural color.

Lisa Miles, a clinical esthetician, gave Lauren both an Age Defy Treatment and Dermaplane Peel to keep her skin looking young and fresh.
