North Market Celebrates the Season with New Outdoor Winter Market
Let the vendors of the North Market put you in the holiday spirit this weekend during the annual Winter Market.
On Dec. 6, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Dec. 7, from noon to 5 p.m., the market will celebrate the season with samples, music and plenty of giftable items. Admission is free, and new this year is an outdoor Holiday Winter Market featuring Christmas trees, wreaths and vintage holiday records. Bring the kids for craft time on the mezzanine throughout the weekend, and don't miss the Columbus Children's Choir performing from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday and the Westland High School Choral on Sunday from 3 to 4 p.m.
Yes, Santa and Mrs. Claus will stop by on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. (The market suggests bringing your camera for a photo op.)
Some other specials happening throughout the weekend:
- Bring in a canned food item or make a donation to the "Give Like You Mean It" food drive and North Market will have a special gift for you.
- The first 50 people to head in on Saturday and Sunday will score a holiday goody bag.
- If you spend $100 or more at the market, keep your receipts and show them to the Business Office. You'll get a North Market coffee mug in return.
