ClassPass Lets You Try Unlimited Boutique Fitness Classes

Ready to get fit in the New Year? ClassPass has officially launched in Columbus.

What it is: The fitness site and app allows users access to various boutique fitness studios (yoga, barre, pilates and more) in participating cities with a monthly $79 fee. That membership allows for unlimited classes at any of the locations within the ClassPass network. Members can go to each spot up to three times per month, too.

How it works: After users purchase a membership, they can download the app and use it to reserve classes. Most classes are posted to the app/site a week in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. A $20 fee may be charged for missed classes.

Local participating studios: Peak Human Performance, The Human Form Fitness, Grandview Barbell, Brickhouse Cardio Club, Pure Barre, Thank Yoga, Oxygen Health and Fitness, V Power Yoga, Improvement Warrior Fitness, The Art of Yoga, Fit Club, The Butcher Shop Fitness and The Fitness Loft. The site adds new studios regularly, too.

The fine print: ClassPass lets users cancel their membership at any time or put it on hold for $19, and it asks for reviews to better tailor its recommendations. Currently, the site allows members to take classes in all of its participating cities (from New York City to Chicago to Boston and Seattle). See a full list of cities here.
