Fashion Show has star power

Community First and the Shelby County Board of Developmental Disabilities are putting on a fashion show Saturday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m.. The show will be held at 702 S. Main Ave. in what was Lowell Elementary. Local celebrities attending the event will include Shelby County Commissioner Julie Ehemann, Superintendent Laura Zureich, Director of Raise the Roof for the Arts Sarah Barr, Shelby County Historical Director Tilda Phlipot and UM Church Pastor Eileen Hicks. The outfits will be provided by Peebles and the Upper Valley JVS will be doing the hair and makeup for the models. A number of vendors will be on hand selling everything from cosmetics to handbags.
