Fairy Goodmothers Hosts Annual Party for Prom

Fairy Goodmothers will host its annual Party for Prom benefit on Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Park Street Saloon.

The event will kick off with a VIP cocktail hour at 5 p.m. A fashion show, featuring gowns from local designer Lubna Najjar of Lubna Designs, will follow at 6 p.m., as will a silent auction and music from Capital Sound.

Some of the city's best restaurants, including Hot Chicken Takeover, Hudson 29, Kraft House No. 5, Wolf's Ridge and more, will offer a sampling of foods, and each guest will receive two drink tickets.

Proceeds will go to Fairy Goodmothers, a local organization that provides formalwear to high school girls for their prom.
