Welsh Hills Inn Named No. 1 Bed-and-Breakfast Nationwide

The Welsh Hills Inn in Granville recently earned a distinctive title: TripAdvisor's 2015 No. 1 rated bed-and-breakfast in the country. Not bad for a business started less than five years ago by a couple looking for a new gig after decades of working as engineers in the corporate world. "We were amazed and so excited when we read the news," says Bobbi Noe, who owns the 4-bedroom inn with her husband, Jeff.

The majestic B&B is situated on 15 acres of wooded, hike-able tranquility. The views alone are worth the trip, but the amenities make the experience complete. The inn boasts a fishing pond, an archery range, horseback riding, professional massage services, a lighted bocce ball court, a heated outdoor pool and courtyard gardens.

Running a business like this doesn't much feel like work. "We meet people from all over the world, and each has their own story," Bobbi says. "Getting to give back to their lives is very rewarding for us."
