CMH Fashion Week is Now Fashion Week Columbus

At the June 17 launch party kicking off "fashion week season," the team behind CMH Fashion Week-founded six years ago-revealed the event's new name: Fashion Week Columbus.

Also announced at this week's launch party were the names of the headlining designers for the finale runway show on Oct. 10: Stevie Boi, who designs wild accessories that have been worn by celebs including Lady Gaga and Madonna, will open the show. Red-carpet fixture David Tupaz will close the show.

Fashion Week Columbus was the realization of a vision to celebrate high-end couture from right here in Columbus-which ranks third in the nation for the population of fashion designers employed-say the event's founders.

Fashion Week Columbus will take place this year from Oct. 4 through Oct. 10. Events include the High Fashion tea (Oct. 4) and bridal runway show (Oct. 8), plus a pre-fashion week kid's fashion show, hosted on Oct. 3 in partnership with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio.
