Kleibacker Film Fest to Feature Documentary on Legendary Style Icon Iris Apfel

The fourth annual Charles Kleibacker Film Festival, hosted by the Columbus Museum of Art, will celebrate the life and extraordinary style sense of Iris Apfel with a screening of the 2015 documentary "Iris."

The film by Albert Maysles ("Grey Gardens") examines the life of the 93-year-old icon. Filled with glamour, creativity and Apfel's quick wit, the documentary has received rave reviews, especially from those in the fashion industry. The screening will kick off the film fest on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 7 p.m.

"Dior and I," a documentary that goes inside the House of Dior with Raf Simons at the helm, will show at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug 21. And the festival will conclude with a showing of "Lagerfeld Confidential," a profile of the visionary that is Karl Lagerfeld, on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m. Lagerfeld is notoriously private, and this documentary is said to give viewers extraordinary access to his creative process.
