Real Wedding Wednesdays: Andrea Howard and David Drago

The next time a friend tries to set you up with someone who thinks is a perfect match for you, think of Andrea and David Drago before you decline. That’s exactly how the two found one another, says Andrea.

Their wedding ceremony was all about honoring those who couldn’t attend: Photos of David’s mother and Andrea’s grandparents adorned the altar in memoriam, and a shot of Penny—the Dragos’ goldendoodle—was attached to a popsicle stick so she could be there in spirit. (Penny’s fine, by the way; she just wasn’t allowed at the venue.)

The Drago wedding took place the same weekend as the Midwest Haunter’s Convention last year. “While we didn’t get any pictures with zombies, we did see a lot,” says Andrea. “This was exciting for us, because we love The Walking Dead!”
