Etsy Eight: May

Etsy is a go-to resource for many couples planning their weddings. But did you know that you can shop handmade and local? Check out our top Etsy picks for this month, all from shop owners based right here in Columbus.
Let’s start off with the guys this month, shall we? Today we have a Swank cufflink and tie bar set from HometownVintage. This hand-engraved goldtone pieces are just $24 and come with their original box. Based on looks alone, we have to say that the brand lives up to its name.
For the ladies, we are all about this leaf, faux-pearl and rhinestone hair comb. It’s sold by RosyroseStudio and available in gold or silver. You can choose your size, too—the small one is $19, a larger one is $25 and a pair of clips will run you $39.
Still looking for your “something blue?” We suggest these lovely 6 mm topaz and sterling silver studs from Kelnjo. The handmade earrings are $59.95 and are as charming as they are colorful.
Your bridesmaids will be thanking you when you give them a custom necklace from DericoleDesigns as their attendants’ gift. For $25 each, you can have anything engraved on the brass bar (provided it fits, of course), like a name or date … though we have to say, the shop’s existing designs are pretty cool, too.
For your guests, you can’t go wrong with a favor they can actually use: a natural essential oil diffuser from SullivanWoodwork. Made from air-dried pine wood and accented with your choice of bead, this $8.95 diffuser will spread an essential oil scent throughout a car or small room.
Craft cocktail lovers (or just about anyone, really) will adore this beautifully illustrated custom bar sign from JesMarried. Pricing starts at $35 for one cocktail, and goes up to $70 for eight cocktails on one sign. Each sign includes a hand-drawn image of the cocktail, along with its name in a lovely modern script, and a “signature cocktails” or custom header.
Looking for some basic signage for your rustic event? Search no farther than this hand-painted slatted sign. Customized with your names and wedding date, this MichelisOriginals piece is stained on both sides and comes with a saw-tooth hanger, all for $55.
If you and your sweetie are headed for a Disney honeymoon, these bride-and-groom mouse ears are a must. Are they cheesy? Absolutely. Should you get them from HobbyHollee? Definitely. The ears are $29.99 for bride-only or groom-only, and $54.99 for both.
