Today, join us in congratulating the no-longer newlyweds who celebrated their first anniversaries this weekend: Kayla and Troy King, who wed on June 17, and Hannah and David Pierre, who married on June 18.

Kayla and Troy’s Vegas-themed wedding took place at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. The childhood sweethearts both sported heirloom wedding bands and a number of other personal touches, like Kayla’s handmade shoes and veil. They worked together to design their guest favors (personalized decks of cards) and invitations, too. “I love to plan, so this was heaven for me!” says Kayla. And yes, they traveled to Las Vegas for their honeymoon.

Hannah and David said “I do” at the Columbus Mennonite Church, in a ceremony that included both Mennonite and Catholic traditions. You can read more about their ceremony in last week’s Real Wedding Wednesday post, available here.
