There’s still time to participate in the 10th annual Columbus Autism Speaks Walk.

The fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 8 at John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons, 160 S. High St. The event benefits the nonprofit Autism Speaks organization, which aims to raise awareness and understanding of autism.

Interested participants can sign up to walk, or support another walker or team, at act.autismspeaks.org/site/tr/walk/ohio?fr_id=3004&pg=entry. As of mid-day Oct. 4, according to the event website, about $293,000 had been raised toward the $395,000 goal.
